Bio
Formerly Parliamentary Operations Director of the Democratic Alliance, South Africa’s main opposition party, Jo is a strategic communications expert who has also worked in the South African Parliament and the UK education sector.
Until recently Jo was Head of Communications for Stemettes, an award-winning enterprise established to inspire the next generation of girls into STEM careers, via panel events, hackathons and a mentoring scheme. In this role Jo managed communications across the business, including PR, digital and internal communications.
Jo was also one half of MacroAdventure, a 22,000-mile expedition from Alaska to Argentina exploring business as a force for good.
She is now the Managing Director of The Unreasonables.
